A cautionary tale-

As so often happens in history a great and influential culture begins to weaken and cease to be an influence in the world...at those moments the society of this once great empire turns back to forms of creativity found in their more glorious past. The following sculpture is a good example-with a style exactly like that of the mythic Old Kingdom this Late period piece attempts to re-invigorate, to re-animate itself with the power of that period.
